    Default WTB Springfield Armory XDM 9mm or XDM .40

    Been looking around for a nice used one, I saw a few at the past guns shows but a little pricey IMO. I missed the opp to get one at a pawn shop in beautiful shape. When I went back to but it, gone!

    If anyone has one of these for sale under $500, I know wishful thinking, I was thinking $450 they could part with, please let me know.

    FTF? What city are you in? If in Houston, check out AGR Outdoors. For an extra $50, you can probably get one new.

    There's also Tomball Pawn. They have great prices on new, used, and pawned.

    I should have posted, I am in San Antonio, I dont mind traveling, if its worth it. I will be in Hoston in May so Ill give those guys a look. Thanks for the input. I am in no hurry at all.

    Here's your problem... IMHO, those of us that have XD's (I'm looking for my second XD9 in sub compact for concealed carry) WILL NOT part with them at any price.
    I love mine and will love my second just as much. If you do find a used one out there I'd be suspicious of it being stolen or abused. Yes, it's really that good a pistol. I'm not saying that you won't find a legit used one in good shape out there, but I would think you're in for a long frustrating search.
    As Dcortez pointed out - for an extra $50.00 you can probably get a new one without much effort.
    Which ever way you go - You made a good choice - (don't settle for second best = Glock = and don't let anyone talk you into it either) - Stick with an XD - Buy an XD - You'll be glad you did...

    Tomball pawn does indeed have great prices... They usually have a few XDMs there

    I have to agree here. Someone would have to be fairly hard up to sell an XD. Pinch a few pennies from your budget and buy new. You won't regret it. Be warned though, they become addictive and one is not enough.

    Correct. I have 2 DXs, Mom a sc & none of them are for sale at any price that a sane working man will pay. Good choice. Excellent choice. Dont settle for 2nd best unless you need a truck gun, tacklebox gun, .........

    I completely understand, however, you cant get what you dont ask for. I know its a long shot but maybe someone really will NEED to sell. In that rare case, I'll be here. In the mean time, it doesn't cost me anything to keep my eyes peeled. Im optimistic.

    Try the SAXET show but shop around, I bought a revolver from there, saw prices quite a bit different than what I paid, some were 150 over the price I paid.

    A look at thehighroad.org if you are willing to have one shipped. Also texasguntalk.com has a for sale section. If you are patient one will finally coma along. Dont settle for 2nd best.
