Prophezine, I'm pretty sure it will handle 9mm and .223 easy. Just not sure for higher velocity Rifles. The back 5/8th's plate might get dinged up some ..but it was not meant for higher velocity stuff. I'm sure it will work for Handgun velocities as you can see from the pic. The .357 Herrett load was a bit much on the HOT side for me. I don't like to load hot for any gun or Rifle.That day I spent chronographing on Sat. was just shooting off hand from a rest iron sights.
