Canada is actually considering dropping the long gun registration because it is a money pit. It hasn't affected crime at all and has cost the people a ton of money.

On the second link: I hate nancy pelosi. I hate her. There's very few people I'd say that about, but she just gets under my skin. The looks she gives, the tone of her voice, the words she writes. I can't stand her!

Canada is exactly what it's complacent subjects let it become. It is a socialist state that restricts freedom, liberty, and wealth. Our government has been trying to make us subjects by removing citizen freedom and has nearly accomplished its goal. Some of you may remember mail order guns. A rifle club and prayer in public schools. Parents having authority over their minor children. It will be interesting to see what this forum will be chatting about in 5 years. We may be calling the Pelosi/Obama/Reid/Clinton regime the good ole days. Already people say Hillary isn't as bad as her cohorts. Imagine that.
