    Default 22-gun Rotary Gun Rack

    Don't beat me up about the crummy cell phone pic. Just wanted to say that I am very pleased with this product from Gun-Racks.com. At $300 + shipping, it's not cheap, and I had to pay an extra $25 to have them dish out two of the upper slots to hold my side-by-side shotguns. Assembly was very easy, and it rotates very smoothly. This is the version with the magnet retention system, and I have to say that I was quite surprised by how strongly the magnets grab ahold, even on stainless barrels. I will add that you do have to alternate scoped long guns with non-scoped, for clearance, and I had to open the bolts on a couple of the rifles as well. No biggie though.

    Before assembly, I took measurements and a few pics...if the swivel can be sourced easily, this would not be all that difficult as a DIY project.

    Very nice SwampMule. I wonder if it can be integrated in a gun safe no more pulling out long guns to get to the one you want .

    All you need is enough room in the safe, and just sit the rack in there. This model has a 30" dia. base, but their website shows their smaller rotary racks inside of a gun safe, if you want to check that out.

    And I think there is at least one safe company that is now offering a rotary rack as an option (if you were in the market for a new safe).

    I have to also add that the biggest problem I had with this rack is that it filled up too fast. LOL Too many long guns were left leaning against the wall. :(

    It wasn't until I posted the pic here that I noticed those....and wondered if would notice. You didn't disappoint!

    For those confused by Cam's comments, Buffalo Bore ammo company ships .380acp ammo in the same boxes (and same interior styro compartments) that they use for their big bore cowboy action rounds. You can hardly see the 380 rounds way down in those big deep holes when you open the box. LOL
